My Story

My name is Dani Agnew and I am passionate about improving the connection we have with our dogs. I am a multi-certified trainer and behavior consultant with extensive education on canine movement. I strive to create a learning environment that supports all learners on their journey, no matter where they are beginning. I am committed to positive reinforcement based training methods for both dogs and their people. This means, I am here to support you without shame or blame for your dog’s behavior.

I got my start working with animals through volunteer work at  Zenerosity, a non-profit that provides equine assisted mental health therapy services. In 2019 I completed the Dog Walking Academy through DogBiz and founded Oaktown Paws. My passion for with dogs and behavior continued to grow.  In 2021 I completed the rigorous Dog Training Internship Academy of San Francisco. and became a CTBC (Certified Trainer & Behavior Consultant). I am committed to continued education to ensure that I am up to date on latest science in humane force-free training.

In 2022 I completed Kim Brophy’s L.E.G.S. Program and became a certified Family Dog Mediator.
